Authorities confirm that a man has died following a stabbing in Beech Island, South Carolina on Monday.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded around 12:30 p.m. to the 5000 block of Woodcrest Way after receiving reports of a male who had been stabbed.
Deputies found the victim inside a vehicle and began life-saving efforts. Emergency medical crews arrived shortly after, but the victim, identified as 36-year-old Michael Harvey, was pronounced dead at 1:28 p.m. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office confirmed an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday in Newberry.
Authorities said the incident occurred at Harvey’s home. Investigators and forensic units from the sheriff’s office were sent to the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
