Jackie Scribner, 75-Year-Old Waukomis Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Garfield County.

A 75-year-old woman from Waukomis has died following a single-vehicle crash in Garfield County on Friday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities identified the driver as Jackie Scribner of Waukomis, Oklahoma. Troopers reported that the crash occurred along Imo Road, approximately a quarter mile south of Southgate Road.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Scribner was traveling southbound in a 1963 Ford Falcon when the vehicle left the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation. Officials said the car entered a ditch and struck a tree before becoming airborne.

Troopers stated that the vehicle then made contact with a concrete culvert and rolled before coming to rest upside down in a creek bed near the roadway. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene following the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that Scribner was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.

Investigators also noted that Scribner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Authorities routinely emphasize the importance of seatbelt use, as it can significantly reduce the risk of serious injury or death in traffic accidents.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Troopers continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident as part of their ongoing investigation. No further details have been released at this time.

Single-vehicle crashes remain a focus of traffic safety efforts across the state. Law enforcement agencies encourage drivers to remain attentive, obey posted speed limits, and ensure that all occupants are properly restrained.

Anyone with additional information related to the incident is encouraged to contact local authorities. Further updates may be provided as the investigation progresses.

This is a developing story, and information is subject to change as officials complete their review.
