 Christian Vanover, Monticello Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash on KY 90.

A 26-year-old Monticello man has died following a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon in Wayne County, according to authorities. The Kentucky State Police reported that the collision occurred around 1:36 p.m. on Feb. 28 along KY 90 near Hall Road.

Investigators said Christian Vanover was traveling westbound on a 2025 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it collided with the rear of a 2008 Honda Odyssey. Witnesses told troopers that Vanover was navigating traffic at the time of the crash.

Following the collision, authorities said the motorcycle left the roadway and went down an embankment. Officials confirmed that Vanover was wearing a helmet.

Emergency responders with Wayne County EMS transported Vanover to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was later transferred to the University of Kentucky hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver and passenger of the Honda Odyssey were not injured, according to police.

Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details have been released at this time.

Authorities said further information will be made available as the investigation progresses.
