Ann Arena, Exeter Township Woman Died in Parking Lot Accident; Investigation Ongoing.
Authorities have identified the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle in Exeter Township on Tuesday afternoon.
The victim, 76-year-old Ann Arena of Caernarvon Township, Berks County, was crossing the parking lot of the Boscov’s store on the 4500 block of Perkiomen Avenue when she was struck by a pickup truck. She later succumbed to her injuries, according to the Exeter Township Police Department.
A second woman walking nearby was also hit and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition has not been released.
Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities spent several hours documenting the area, speaking with witnesses, and collecting information as part of the ongoing investigation.
