The Wilmington community is mourning the passing of 24-year-old Athanasios Papoulias, who sadly did not survive following a traffic incident in the Monkey Junction area on Tuesday evening. Officials stated that a gray Honda Ridgeline was traveling south through the intersection with a green light at the time. Athanasios was attempting a turn when the collision occurred. A second vehicle, stopped at a nearby light, was also involved in the aftermath of the incident.
