Declan J. Coady, Pentagon Identifies Four Army Reserve Soldiers Killed in Kuwait Drone Strike.
The Pentagon has confirmed the identities of four of the six U.S. service members killed during a recent military operation involving the United States and Israel. Officials said the troops died March 1 in a drone strike at Port Shuaiba in Kuwait.
According to the Department of Defense, the four soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, based in Des Moines. They have been identified as Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa; Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida; Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; and Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
The names of the remaining two service members are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
In a statement, Lt. Gen. Robert Harter, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General of the United States Army Reserve, honored the fallen troops, recognizing their service and sacrifice.
The strike occurred one day after U.S. and Israeli forces carried out operations targeting Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Iranian state media reported that the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in the strikes.
Following the operation, Iran launched drones and missiles toward Israel and U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, according to officials.
Separately, President Donald Trump said at the White House that military operations could continue for several weeks, adding that the timeline would depend on developments in the region.
The situation remains fluid, and officials say further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
