Cam’ron Tyreece Ja’vion Hallingquest, Teen Identified Following Fatal Shooting on Winesap Way.
Authorities have identified a 19-year-old who died following a shooting Tuesday evening in Richmond County. According to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office, the victim has been identified as Cam’ron Tyreece Ja’vion Hallingquest of Williston, South Carolina.
Deputies responded to the 3400 block of Winesap Way at approximately 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting, officials said. When law enforcement arrived, they located Hallingquest with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel transported him to Wellstar MCG for treatment. Authorities said he was later pronounced deceased at the hospital at 8:25 p.m. on Feb. 18.
The coroner’s office confirmed that an autopsy has been scheduled as part of the ongoing investigation.
Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including whether any suspects have been identified. The investigation remains active.
Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the incident to contact local law enforcement.
